We are planning our next trip for Dec 2016. If we book a pkg at 499 days, do we have the next year to pay it off? If not, can you buy tix first, then book resort and then add dining pkg and Mem Maker to spread out payments? Thanks!

    Hi Charlene,

I love Walt Disney World in December! I think you are very smart to plan well ahead and spread out the payment for your vacation. You can make a Room Only reservation up to 499 days in advance of your desired check-in date. You will have to make a deposit equal to one night's stay. When packages are released for the next year, which usually happens in the summer, you can convert your Room Only reservation to a Package. You can start with a Package that includes your room and tickets, then later add the Disney Dining Plan and Memory Maker.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Please let me know if I can help you with any other questions!

Wishing you happy planning and a magical vacation,
