We are planning our next baby around our December '13 cruise. How sticky is the "..must be 12 weeks old" rule? Is there ANY wiggle room? Also, what can you tell me about cruising with an infant? Difficult? Easy?

    Hi Rachel!

Wow Rachel....I think I have to hand you the "QUEEN OF PLANNING" crown!  You're planning a baby AND a Disney cruise?!?!  You are incredible!

The 12 week old rule is a HUGE rule for Disney Cruise Line.  They won't even let your bundle of joy on the ship if it's a day away from 12 weeks.  Cruising with an infant is not difficult.  As the mother of two, I've always found that little babies are way more portable than older kids...and they don't complain:)

You don't even have to bring a bunch of baby supplies with you.  You can preorder everything on Babies Travel Lite, a service that Disney Cruise Line sponsors on their website for baby needs.  You place your order online, and the items will be waiting for you in your room when you arrive.

Hope this helps!  Good luck with everything and please let me know if I can help with anything else.
