I am planning to come with a 6months old baby. I’ve heard that parents could line up together with the baby and get on the coaster while one waits with the baby and once one finishes the ride they could switch. Is that really possible?

Hello, ???, and welcome to planDisney. I am so excited about your trip from Japan to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth." One day I will visit Japan as it has been my number one travel site since I was 5 years old.

Yes, adults may take turns enjoying attractions that their little ones need more time to grow into. Traveling with an infant can be tough but Disney has you covered to make sure all adults get to act like kids as well. The process is called Rider Switch. Here is how it works:

    1. First, find a Cast Member at the front of the attraction and ask if Rider Switch is available. Do not wait in line until after you have asked.
    2. If Rider Switch is available, ask the greeting Cast Member for a Rider Switch entitlement. All members of your party must be there.
    3. Guests not riding (Group 2) will wait in a designated area to wait until those riding (Group 1) are finished.
    4. When Group 1 finishes they will find Group 2 and switch adults.
    5. The Rider Switch entitlement will be checked before Group 2 can ride. Group 2 will not have to wait in the standby line.
planDisney Pro Tip: Rider Switch is a perfect time to grab a snack for the little ones to keep them entertained or catch a parade. Also, Baby Care Centers offer a calm, relaxing place to feed and care for your baby, and strollers and lockers (to store diapers and other needs) are available to rent.

???, I hope this information helps you and your group experience the best Walt Disney World Resort vacation ever. Please write me back directly with any questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
