I am planning a mommy daughter trip for myself and my 13 year old. I am trying to decide which resort to stay at The Art of Animation or Polynesian? Which would suit a 3 year old girl the best?

    Hi Tina!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

First of all, a young child will be happy staying at any resort at Walt Disney World. Thus you might think about what you would like best. The Polynesian is a Disney Deluxe Resort while the new Art of Animation Resort is a Disney Value Resort. A Deluxe Resort has more services and amenities including Table Service restaurants and a water slide at the main pool. The Polynesian is on the monorail line providing easy access to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot.

That said, the Art of Animation is a fabulous resort with incredible theming. A young child will probably be more excited and happier staying in this resort. The rooms, buildings, common areas, pools, etc are all incredibly themed.

Good luck with your decision and please write back with more questions.
