Planning a mom/daughter (6 yrs) trip in late September or late October. We will be flying in and won't have a car. Should we stay at Contemporary, for the convenience or PORiverside in a royal room?

    Hi Leah!

Congratulations on your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

That is a tough question! I must confess that staying in a newly refurbished Royal Guest Rooms located in the Manors area of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside sounds rather tempting. In fact, it would be perfect for you and your little princess. However, if the budget permits it, I would opt for Disney's Contemporary Resort instead. As you know this is a "monorail Resort" in the Magic Kingdom area. Access to Monorail Transportation makes it very convenient to go back to your Disney Resort Hotel for a mid-day break from the hustle and bustle of the Disney Theme Parks. Both Magic Kingdom and Epcot are easily accessible via monorail. I also love the convenience of having access to Magic Kingdom via walkway from Disney's Contemporary Resort. I hope I didn't make the decision any harder than it already is.
