Planning to do MNSSHP this year. Where is the best place to stand for the parade? Any other tips or suggestions would be great.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Keith!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite special event at the Walt Disney World Resort. This spooktacular party takes place on select nights at Magic Kingdom Park, and I also have plans to attend it this year with my oldest daughter. Separate admission is required and tickets are already available for purchase, so I recommend securing your preferred date as soon as possible!

One of the highlights of the party is definitely Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and my favorite spot to watch it is from the hub right in front of Cinderella Castle facing the bridge towards Liberty Square. I try saving a spot at this location at least one hour before the parade, so I usually grab something to eat from Casey’s Corner or buy a delicious turkey leg at Liberty Square Market and relax until show time! Besides the great views, one of the best things about this spot is that we can sit comfortably throughout the parade.

I highly recommend watching the wicked Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular featuring the mischievous Sanderson Sisters and other Disney Villains having the time of their lives being bad. Another great attraction you cannot miss is Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular, an amazing fireworks show that lights up the skies with the perfect host, Jack Skellington, while Mickey and friends find themselves in a mysterious haunted house where they come face to face with some of our favorite Disney Villains.

One of the things I love the most about the party is that kids and adults can dress up to the occasion and wear their favorite costumes! In addition, everybody is invited to trick-or-treat throughout the park at treat stations located at all lands. Are food allergies an issue? Talk to a Cast Member and request a teal-colored allergy-friendly treat bag. You will receive tokens instead of regular candy and later you can redeem these tokens at allergy-friendly centers for special treats.

Moms Panel tip: I highly recommend purchasing Memory Maker to have access to all digital content captured during your visit, including frightful photos and Magic Shots available exclusively during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

I hope this helps you while planning, Keith. Please, hurry back if you have more questions, we are delighted to help!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
