Hiya Lindsey,
Boo to You and Welcome Back to planDisney! I’m glad that you were able to chat with Taylor, one of my favorite people, about the spooktacular
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! I actually got my tickets for a party, and I am in the midst of coordinating our annual family Halloween costume for it.
Speaking of costumes and all things merchandise, what a great question! I love
Curtain Call Collectibles, so this was so fun to research. Traditionally, Curtain Call Collectibles has been open and available for embroidery during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and other after-hours events. I wasn’t able to confirm with certainty that this will be the case this year, but more than likely it will be. Since you are able to enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 pm the day of the party (3 hours before the party officially kicks off), you can always head to Curtain Call Collectibles during that window and get your item in the queue for embroidery. Speaking of items, in my experience, there have been quite a few items that you can get embroidered, including Mickey Ear hats, t-shirts, bags, and clothing. However, when I was talking to a Cast Member earlier, they shared that this list is not all-inclusive! While there isn’t a set list, they shared that most items that have the tags still attached are new and unused, and have a space large enough for the embroidery machine to embroider on. I personally cannot wait to see if I can get little sweaters embroidered for my two little ones the next time I’m at Magic Kingdom, thanks to this news!
I hope this was helpful, Lindsey. Before I let you go, I know I mentioned getting to Curtain Call Collectibles early on your party day, but even if you don’t head there at 4 pm, I still recommend stopping by as early as you can. Sometimes the embroidery line can get pretty long, and I want to make sure you can still enjoy all that the event has to offer! Once you get to Curtain Call, you can drop your item off, and a Cast Member will text you when your item is ready, so that you don’t have to hang around and can instead go get a spot for
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade or dance with Stitch at A Masquerade with Stitch. If there is anything else you need, please come back and see us, Lindsey. There is always room for one more question here at planDisney.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
