We are planning on going to MK 11/07/2016. I noticed this is a MVMCP day. I really do not want to add this cost of an expensive vacation. Can we stay & experience MK just not participate in MVMCP? How will they know if we've been there all day?

Hi Cheryl and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my family's favourite special events at the Walt Disney World Resort. It's a great way to get into the spirit of the season and did you know that when attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, guests are even able to see it magically snow on Main Street U.S.A!

As Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party requires separate admission, unfortunately all guests without a special event ticket will be required to leave the Magic Kingdom park once the party begins at 7:00 PM.

Guests with special event tickets will be given wristbands to wear when they enter the Magic Kingdom park which identify them as having the required admission. You will also most probably see Cast Members handing out wristbands to guests who are already at the Magic Kingdom Park at around 6:00 PM after seeing proof of their event tickets.

Cast Members will be stationed at various locations throughout the theme park asking for sight of guests wristbands from 7:00 PM onwards and all guests without one will be asked to leave.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
