Moms, I am planning a mid-week trip in late october(not halloween wknd) and was noticing that the prices at Polynesian had gone up significantly. Any reason and will this change? It had previously been 350 and now at least 500 per nt. Thank you!!

    Hi Barbara!
Late October is an absolutely great time to visit Walt Disney World! The weather has usually calmed down a bit heat and humidity-wise and the parks are all decked out for Halloween.
What you mention regarding pricing seemed unusual to me at first, but then the more I thought about it, the more I realized that there may no longer be rooms in that particular category for the dates you are staying. Meaning, the $350 rate may have been for "standard" category rooms, but now those are all booked and the only rooms available are "water view" rooms or something similar that carry a higher per night rate. I use that as the example as it is something like that that has probably occurred. You could certainly always check back to see if the lower rates pop back up over time because cancellations do happen frequently. You may catch a break on the rate.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip this fall!! :)
