Hey there, Janelle! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am so excited that you are planning to attend
Mickey’s Halloween Party this fall! Your daughter is going to have a blast trick-or-treating around the park. You’ll be glad to know that all the regular offerings at Disneyland Park are still available during the day on dates when Mickey’s Halloween Party takes place. The only differences should be that normal nighttime entertainment, like Fantasmic!, will not take place on party nights because Mickey’s Halloween Party-exclusive entertainment takes place instead.
So, you can certainly book an appointment for your daughter at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and plan to visit the princesses in Royal Hall during the day. In fact, if she plans to dress up as a princess for the party, then getting a magical makeover that day is the perfect way to prepare for the party!
Since it sounds like you might already be in the park when the party starts, make sure to check in at a designated location to receive your Mickey’s Halloween Party wristbands. In the past, there has been a spot in Frontierland to check-in but ask a Cast Member where to go when you are in the parks this year. The wristband allows you to stay in the park once the party begins. Also, be sure to buy your Mickey’s Halloween Party tickets as soon as you are able because party dates do sell out. Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 12th.
I would love to help you continue to plan your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, so please bring us any other questions you may have!
