We are planning to meet friends at the Liberty Inn restaurant in Epcot for my daughter's 5th birthday dinner. I called the cake hotline but that restaurant is not listed - do all restaurants provide at least a plain cake for bdays?

    Hi Jennifer,

Happy birthday to your little one! Walt Disney World is a great place to celebrate.

Most table service restaurants do have plain birthday cakes available at all times, but Liberty Inn is a counter service restaurant. So that explains why it wasn't on the list.

You might stop by one of the nearby table service restaurants such as Tutto Italia in Italy or Biergarten in Germany to ask if you can get a plain cake to go from them. Or, as an alternative to cake, you can visit Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie in the France pavilion for a selection of pastries.

One other thought: Check with the cake hotline again to see if you can order a cake to be picked up at the Boardwalk Bakery in the nearby Boardwalk resort. Boardwalk is less than a 10-minute walk from the International Gateway entrance of Epcot, which is between the United Kingdom and France pavilions.  Or you can call the resort directly at (407) 939-5100 and ask to be connected to the Boardwalk Bakery.

It wouldn't be as convenient as getting the cake inside the park, but it could be an alternative.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope I was able to help.
