Planning a May 2014 visit. I have read that along with the Lion King show in AK that they are closing Camp M & M. Is there any word yet on where they are moving the character meet and greets from this area? My daughters are excited to see Pocahontas.

Hello, Jennifer!  Welcome to the Moms Panel!

Disney's Animal Kingdom is certainly going through some new and exciting changes!  The new Festival of the Lion King theater is set to open sometime in 2014, so I am hoping that it will be up and running prior to your upcoming Walt Disney World visit.

Although I have not heard when and where they will be moving the characters form Camp Minnie-Mickey, you can meet Mickey and Minnie at the Adventurers Outpost on Discovery Island.  No worries!  When you visit Animal Kingdom, simple pick-up a brochure to find out where character meet-and-greets can found or ask your closest Cast Member.
