Walt Disney World Holiday decoration on Main Street

    Hi, we’re planning a magical adventure to Disney World Resort from October 27th - November 14th 2025. Can you please let us know if the holiday season theming will be live by the time we leave, and also if runDisney will coincide with Veterans Day? Thanks

    Hello there Jason, I'm happy to welcome you to planDisney as you look ahead to your future trip next year!

    Over the past two years, I've been fortunate enough to spend that very special week right after Halloween to closely observe the way that Walt Disney World Resort seemingly transforms magically from the spooky season to a wintery wonderland ready for the holiday season in a way that would make Jack Skellington himself giddy! You'll be pleased to hear that if the same overnight operation they've done for years is followed once again this year, those decorations should be up courtesy of the impressive work by the Holiday Services team across the theme parks as well as Disney Springs by the time you're ready to head home. (From my own observations, this was most immediately apparent at Magic Kingdom Park before the other theme parks and Disney Resort Hotels got into the spirit of the season.)

    As for the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, this has historically taken place on the first week of November and in recent years has not affected nor conflicted with any Veterans Day events or observances here at Walt Disney World Resort. Since it is however a bit early to confirm runDisney dates that far out into next year, you'll want to keep a close eye on each Event as they are announced on the runDisney website since offerings and dates may always be subject to change without prior notice and not guaranteed to always be consistent with the year previous.
