Hello, Lauren,
Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited to hear that you have plans to spend a day at the
Magic Kingdom this fall. It is a great time to visit, especially with all of the fall decor up for guests to enjoy. On the evening of October 18, 2020,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening, which is a separate ticket event. While the
Park Hours for that specific date are not available yet, it is likely the Magic Kingdom will close at 6:00 PM for guests not attending the party. If you don't purchase tickets for the party, you would need to leave the Magic Kingdom before the party begins.
If you'd like to spend more time at the theme parks and don't want to purchase tickets for the party, you could purchase
theme park tickets with the Park Hopper Option. By doing that, you could leave the Magic Kingdom when it closes and then visit
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
EPCOT, and/or
Disney's Animal Kingdom. Or, it might be a great evening to go to
Disney Springs for dinner at one of the many restaurants there and enjoy all the shopping and entertainment, too. You could even take a tour in a vintage
Amphicar, which is a car that drives into the water and becomes a boat!
Wishing you a Disney Day! Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
