    Hi! We're planning a last minute trip. How will we get our magic bands? We booked 11 days ahead of our arrival date. Will we pick them up at the resort? Will I have time to customize or will they be gray? Thanks in advance!

    Hi Kelli! When booking a last minute trip to Walt Disney World you will still have the opportunity to get new Magic Bands. However, this does not give you time to personalize and choose a color and instead you will pick them up at check-in and they will be gray. If you have colored magic bands from past visits you are more then welcome to bring those as they will be linked to your account as well. You can also purchase one of the many fun character bands at several shops in the parks or through the Disney Store.

    I actually love the gray bands as they go with everything. I do like to be fashion forward each day at Disney and don't want my colors to clash! Honestly though, as long as I have a Magic Band that fulfills the purpose of my needs I don't care what color and it's great that all guests have the opportunity to get a band even for the last minute vacations. Have a great time!
