Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Robin. I'm so excited to hear that you and your husband are planning a last-minute visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! My husband and I enjoyed a short Disney getaway a few years ago. We didn't have much time in the theme parks, but the time we had was magical!
At this time, Guests need
Theme Park Reservations in addition to valid admission for entry into the theme parks. I recommend
purchasing your Theme Park Tickets right away! The holiday season is an exceptionally busy time to visit the theme parks, so there's limited availability for Theme Park Reservations. I just checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and it looks like only EPCOT is available at the time of your visit. If you were hoping to visit other theme parks, not to fret! Be sure to purchase Theme Park Tickets with the
Park Hopper Option. The Park Hopper Option allows you to visit more than just one theme park in a single day! If you purchase the Park Hopper Option, make your Theme Park Reservation at EPCOT. Visit EPCOT the day of your reservation and then, beginning at 2:00 PM, you can leave EPCOT and "hop" to any of the other three theme parks!
When the Park Hopper Option returned as a ticket option, the Disney Parks Blog posted a helpful infographic to explain how the process works. Check it out! And while you're on the Disney Parks Blog, take a few minutes to read
12 Things for Adults to Do at Walt Disney World Resort. So fun!
A first-time visit to the theme parks is sure to be magical. Stop by Guest Relations when you arrive to ask for a complimentary celebration button. With a first-time visit button, you'll receive an extra warm welcome from Cast Members and Guests alike! Not to mention, it makes for a cute (and free!) souvenir!
Before your arrival, download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. It's magic at your fingertips! With the My Disney Experience mobile app you can view current wait times for popular attractions, preview your Disney PhotoPass photos,
place mobile food and beverage orders, and more!
I hope this was helpful, Robin. I'm wishing you a merry visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season!
