    Planning a last min trip to WDW in Nov. Was hoping we could get into Cali Grill on 11/9, no such luck yet. Do you have to have res to sit at bar or lounge area & can you order from the regular menu? Could we go on the bridge to watch Wishes?

    California Grill is one of my favorite restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort. I am sorry you didn’t get a reservation for the night you desire, but I have good news.
    Seating at California Grill Lounge is first-come, first-served; reservations are not accepted. They offer the same menu as the restaurant and you can enjoy Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from there too.
    I suggest you check back for availability a couple days before your visit. Those people who need to cancel their reservation will do it between 48 to 24 hours in advance to avoid cancelation fees. I also encourage you to call dining reservations for checking, they will have updated information to assist you. Good luck!
