It's wonderful to hear you are planning a magical family vacation for October of 2027! A Disney Cruise Line vacation is the perfect way to travel with a large group because it offers activities and events for every age. You also only have to unpack once, even as your views constantly change!
Valeska, I have a few suggestions to make the booking process as stress-free for your family. The first thing I would do is check out the
deck plans to select an area of the ship where your crew would like to stay. Since the fall of 2027 has not been released yet, you can choose from a couple of ships that you are interested in to pinpoint your stateroom location. If you'd like to reserve these rooms as individual parties, I would have a few stateroom options for each family to book, just in case the first choice is taken. Once the reservations open up, you can start checking availability online while you wait for your turn to book via the
Disney Cruise Line website. Reservations open depending on your
Castaway Club status. The good news is that the earlier you book, the better the availability and the more likely you are to get your first choice. Another option is to
call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 at 8:00 am on reservation day to have an agent assist you and the other parties to book. They will be happy to guide you through the process. You can also use a travel agent who is an authorized Disney Vacation Planner to help your crew.
Once everyone is booked and the countdown to your magical vacation is underway, you'll want to make sure all your reservations are linked so you'll be able to dine together and plan onboard fun and time ashore with others in your party. I'm not sure how many staterooms you're planning to reserve, but if you need to link five or more staterooms, you'll need to do that by calling Disney Cruise Line at the number I mentioned above. Linking four or less can be done online or on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
