Hi, Kortney! Welcome to planDisney.
It is a pleasure to answer your first question and help you plan an unforgettable Disney vacation. Combining a cruise with a theme park visit is a great idea! Let’s explore your options.
A Disney Land and Sea vacation is the best of both worlds – high-seas fun mixed with theme park thrills. You can build your land and sea vacation one of two ways. The first is to
call and speak to a reservation agent who can help you select a cruise, pick the perfect resort, and add theme park tickets and ground transportation. Regarding discounts, I recommend asking what is available when you call.
A second option is to book your cruise and theme park stay separately. I used to book our cruise far in advance for the best price. About six months before sailing, I’d head to the Walt Disney World Resort website and take a peek at the
Special Offers page to see if there were any discounts. You can choose to tackle the theme parks before or after your cruise… or do both! After everything is scheduled, call Disney Cruise Line and add
ground transportation from your resort to the port and back to the airport – easy peasy!
Kortney, you will want to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and the
My Disney Experience app to keep track of your land and sea reservations. As your plans start to take shape, please stop by and see us again. My panelist friends are also happy to share their Walt Disney World Resort tips with you!
SEAS the adventure!
