Hi Christian,
You must be so excited to take your young family to Walt Disney World! I'm so glad you've decided to stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort. It's wonderful to be so close to the Magic Kingdom when traveling with little ones.
In addition to making advance dining reservations for your upcoming trip, I would also advise you to schedule at least one
character dining experience. It's a fabulous way to meet the Disney characters without having to stand in line. Chef Mickey's, located in your own home resort, is a great choice for young families.
I'd also advise you to stay on schedule with your children's naps (if they still nap). Walt Disney World is so much more fun when everyone is well-rested. There's no way you can see and do all that this magical place has to offer in one trip so you may as well visit the parks at a reasonable pace.
Take strollers for all of your kids to minimize the walking they'll do. This will keep them (and you) from tiring out too quickly.
If your family is comprised of early birds, try to be at the theme parks when they open in the morning. Lines to attractions are shortest early in the day.
Let us know if you need any additional advice as your trip approaches. We'd be happy to put together a touring plan for each park you visit. Just post a follow-up question for each query and we'll get right to work.
Best wishes for a vacation sprinkled with extra pixie dust.
Jill
