I am planning my 3 kids 1st rip to WDW in May 2011. I am a big fan of naps but was not sure how to fit in the naps with the afternoon parades? It seems like if we stay for the parades it is too late to go back and if we leave then we wont be back in time

    Hi Diana!
Naps keep small children happy during vacations at the Walt Disney World! There's so much to see and do that your kids might be tired earlier than usual. You might consider leaving the theme parks earlier so you're back in time for the afternoon parades. Still, you might be surprised at how your children react to your itinerary at the parks.
A big fan of naps too, I was shocked to find that my son was perfectly fine napping in his stroller while we walked around the theme parks. He was only 1 year old on his first trip to WDW and he slept almost 2 hours every day in his stroller, which reclined completely and had a wonderful shade canopy.
Hope this helps and have a magical vacation!
