Hi I am planning to take my kids to Disneyland and California Adventures are we able to bring in snacks such as individual bags of chips, gogurts, fruit snacks and Gatorade for them?

    Hi Patricia!
Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I love to answer questions from fellow Californians and to be honest, many local moms ask the same thing about whether they're allowed to take outside snacks.
You'll be happy to know parents are free to pack light snacks and drinks for their families when they visit the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parks at the Disneyland Resort.
As a matter of fact, I do it all the time and it helps keep my boys happy and excited without a mealtime lapse!
There are a few things to consider though--
         - The Disneyland Resort does not allow glass containers inside the Parks
         - There are no public refrigerators inside the Parks to store perishable food items
         - If you're going to use a cooler to store the food items you're planning to pack, make sure the cooler is small, preferably the size of a 6-pack or smaller.
         - Keep in mind there are plenty of healthy snacks available throughout the Parks, including fresh fruit, pretzels, milk and water.
         - The restaurants at the Disneyland Resort all feature special kids' menus with healthy meal options.
    I hope this helps Patricia!
Sending you Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust always,
    -Anabel M.
