    We are planning at Jan 2017 trip. We have a day scheduled for Animal Kingdom and Hoop Dee Doo that night. Our Hoop Dee Doo res is at 8:30. Can we get transportation from AK to Hoop Dee Doo? What time should we leave the park?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help you navigate the Walt Disney World complimentary transportation system. From Animal Kingdom, I would grab the bus to the Fort Wilderness resort. The bus will drop you at the Outpost Depot at Fort Wilderness. There you will be able to get a shuttle to Pioneer Hall, the site of Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.

    The trip should take about 45 minutes to an hour, but I would probably leave the park about 6:30 p.m., just to be safe. Since the Hoop-Dee-Doo show starts at a specific time, you won't want to be late. I never like to rush to a dinner reservation or stress that I'm not going to make it. The area near Frontier Hall is a great place to relax if you arrive early. You can sit in rocking chairs in front of Crockett's Tavern, explore the Settlement Trading Post or walk around the area.
