Planning on hopping from HS to Epcot for dinner. Can I ride the skyliner straight there or do I have to get off at each station along the way to get on again? I want to plan how long it normally takes to get from HS to Epcot. Would the bus be faster? Thx!

Hey there Christina, and thank you so much for stopping by to see us again at planDisney! We always love it when our friends come back for another visit. Let’s get you ready to take to the skies aboard the Disney Skyliner!

I have to tell you, the Disney Skyliner has quickly become my absolute favorite way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort. It’s quick and efficient, and oh my goodness, the views! It really is unlike anything we’ve ever experienced at Walt Disney World.

I think your plan to take the Disney Skyliner for your Park hopping adventure is perfect. You’ll hop aboard your gondola at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a super quick flight to Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, where you'll have to exit and change gondolas. After that, there is a station at Disney’s Riviera Resort, but you’ll just stay aboard your gondola and glide on through to EPCOT. Your total travel time should be less than 20 minutes, although I’d make sure to build in a little extra if you’re trying to make a reservation, just in case you have to wait a few minutes to change gondolas or to enter EPCOT.

Speaking of EPCOT, your April visit is perfectly timed to see the Park in full bloom with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! I just love seeing all the gorgeous colors and soaking up the amazing weather. It’s sure to put a “Spring” in your step!

I hope this helps you have a fabulous time at Walt Disney World, Christina. Be sure to pop in and see us again if you have any more questions!

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
