We are planning on going to the Hoop Dee Doo Review, but will have our one year old with us? Is this show appropriate/length okay for a one year old?

    Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love to help guests to plan magical vacations!

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is a boot-stomping, hoot-hollering good time! I have been to this show many times and I enjoy the rollicking fun atmosphere as performers sing, dance, and lead you through an all-around great evening. We have celebrated birthdays there, and my husband has even been called up on stage to be a volunteer! The meal is delicious too - the fried chicken is wonderful.

I do think that the show will be appropriate for your 1-year-old. The songs are upbeat and exciting, the costumes are colorful, and your little one will likely enjoy the spectacle. You can plan on the show being just under a couple of hours. If this is too long for your little one, the great news is that Pioneer Hall, where Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue occurs, is located at the Settlement area of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This area has a lot to walk around and see and do, including the Tri-Circle D Ranch and a nearby playground. If your little one gets restless, there are plenty of places to head to right outside the door of Pioneer Hall if you need to do so.

I hope that these thought are helpful for you, Elizabeth! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
