planning our Honeymoon and 1st trip to DW Oct 4-15. We want to stay at a moderate resort. What resort would you recommend for our first trip? which one would better as far as transportation to the parks goes heard some of the resorts have a lot of stops

Hello Karin!  Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! A magical honeymoon at Disney World sounds like a wonderful way to start your marriage.

The moderate resort I would recommend to you is Coronado Springs. Many of the guest rooms at this resort have been remodeled and are very nice. This is the only moderate resort on property which offers queen beds (the other moderates have doubles). You can also book a king sized bed. This is also the only moderate resort that offers room service and has a health club/spa where you can get facials, manicures, pedicures and massages.

Coronado Springs also offers a club level with turndown service and a lounge featuring continental breakfast in the morning and wine and cheese service at night.

This is a fairly large resort which is situated around a lake, and the views are absolutely beautiful - especially first thing in the morning when the sun is rising and at night when all the buildings are lit up. There are four bus stops, but I have found that it doesn't take very long for the busses to make the stops and get on the way to the parks. There is also an internal transportation system of golf carts that can take you to various points within the resort if you wish.

As far as the moderate resorts go, I think Coronado Springs boasts the most amenities and in a lot of ways is more like a deluxe resort. I hope this gives you some ideas and helps you plan a fantastic honeymoon!
