We are planning our honeymoon may 2016 and we have the dining plan idk if we should book or just go day by day because I feel like what if we aren't ready for dinner at the time we book or not near that park or wanna get ready for dinner?

    Hi, Meredith!

To get the most out of the Disney Dining Plan, I highly recommend making dining reservations.  Many of the more popular restaurants will book up months in advance.  While you will  likely find something last minute, it might not be a restaurant of your liking or the only availability might be at a park or resort that you are nowhere near!  In my experience, I have rarely had luck with just walking up to a Table Service restaurant and getting a table.

Because you are able to book your FastPass+ selection up to 60 days in advance, you will find that you will have a fairly good idea of what your plans will be each day.

Since you are there for such a special occasion, you might want to book a romantic dinner at a signature dining location such at California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort or Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yacht Club Resort.  Signature restaurants require 2 Table Service credits but you will find the service and food to be outstanding!

Reservations are not only for dinner. You can also book reservations for a delicious breakfast buffet such as the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom or a super fun lunch, perhaps at 50's Prime Time Café in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  There are so many great options!

Please let me know if you need help plotting out your schedule or need more dining suggestions.  Most importantly, enjoy each and every minute of your honeymoon with your Prince Charming!

Wishing you a magical vacation and honeymoon!
