I am planning a honeymoon for my daughter and her husband in February 2026. They will not be staying on property but plan are doing the parks. How can I get them a honeymoon pin? What other special things can I purchase for them?

    Hiya Helene,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your honeymoon question! As a fellow New Jersey native, I have to say — there’s nothing quite like trading the Garden State for a little Florida sunshine and Disney magic. And what a truly enchanted way to celebrate your daughter and her soon-to-be son-in-law's happily ever after— there’s no better place to begin a lifetime of love than Disney World.

Now, let’s sprinkle in some pixie-dusted ideas for you to help make their honeymoon extra special! First, let’s talk about Happily Ever After Buttons & Keepsakes. When the happy couple arrives, they can stop by Guest Relations or most merchandise locations to pick up a complimentary Happily Ever After celebration button. It’s such a fun (and free!) way to let Cast Members know they’re celebrating love! For something more lasting, I’d suggest you surprise them with a stop at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom — it’s a charming spot for personalized keepsakes like ornaments, pins, or even custom ear hats they can treasure for years to come.

Next is a Capture the Moment Photoshoot. This would make a perfect honeymoon gift! These private 20-minute photo sessions are offered in all four theme parks and allow a Disney PhotoPass photographer to capture beautiful, professional pictures of the newlyweds in iconic locations. You can book this experience for them in advance, and it’s an excellent way to commemorate the start of their forever.

Another thoughtful way to enhance their experience is to purchase Lightning Lanes or Individual Lightning Lanes so they can spend less time waiting in lines and more time enjoying attractions together. It’s a great way to make their honeymoon as smooth and stress-free as possible. Since they are not staying on the property, Lightning Lanes can be booked 3 days before their visit.

Another fantastic option is the Fireworks Cruise. If you’d like to plan a truly magical surprise, consider booking a Fireworks Cruise on Seven Seas Lagoon or Crescent Lake. The private pontoon boat (which accommodates up to 10 guests) comes with snacks, festive décor, and even a celebratory banner. Guests can bring their own champagne or wine, along with plasticware, for a romantic toast under the fireworks.

Last, if you are looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian is Disney’s crown jewel. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here, and the experience was truly one of a kind. It was a multi-course meal that’s elegant, romantic, and beautifully immersive. If you’d like to gift them something truly once-in-a-lifetime, this would be a stunning choice.

Helene, what a beautiful way to celebrate their love and start their new chapter surrounded by Disney magic. I hope this helps you plan the happiest honeymoon on Earth! Wishing your daughter and her husband endless love, laughter, and fairytale adventures together. If you have any additional questions, feel free to visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
