I am planning our honeymoon for this August and we want to use a combination of Disney gift cards and the Disney Rewards Visa to fund this trip. If we don't spend all the money on our gift cards, are we able to transfer them as credit on our Visa?

    Hi, Rebecca!

Congratulations on your wedding and honeymoon! Walt Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate.

Your Disney Gift Cards and Disney Reward Dollars from your Visa are two separate types of tender, so you cannot transfer one balance to another. However, you can go to DisneyGiftCard.com where you can combine all your gift card balances onto one gift card so you are not carrying around multiple Disney Gift Cards. Any balance on your gift card after your honeymoon can start your Disney fund so you can go back to WDW to celebrate your first wedding anniversary!

Both your Disney Gift Cards and Disney Reward Dollars can be used for food, resorts, tickets, or souvenirs. Hopefully you will have enough saved or given as gifts that you can cover your magical honeymoon.  Also remember that there are few bonus perks of being a Disney Visa cardholder, like special character meet and greets!

Wishing you and your Prince Charming a very "Happily Ever After!"

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
