Planning our 2010-2011 Holidays in WDW. A gift for the family is going to the Cirque de Soleil show, but don't know if front and center or category 1 is worth the $$ over just going with category 2? We are a familyof 4 so it adds up? ANY thoughts?

    Hi Antonio:

Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba at Downtown Disney will make a wonderful Holiday gift for your family.

Category 1 seating provides seats that are closer to the stage and located towards the center of the theatre. Category 2 seating is either located further back from the stage or towards the sides of the theatre.

I'm a fan of La Nouba and have found that Category 2 seating works for my family and has not impacted my family's enjoyment of the show. The theatre design is modern and our Category 2 seats have never had an obstructed view. Since budget is a factor in your decision, I would recommend Category 2 seats and use the saved money for a meal or souvenirs. If, however, your family are huge Cirque du Soleil fanatics or avid theatre-goers who would really appreciate the extra "wow" of sitting up close, they may appreciate Category 1 seats.

Enjoy your trip and the show.
