planning our holiday for early 2017 - childrens first time at Disney - we want to stay at the Polynesian resort -Can I book our room 499 days in advance and then add tickets and free dining plan on later (if free dining plan is released for 2017)

    Hi Nicola,

Friends don't let friends plan their Disney vacation without coming to the Moms Panel for help.  You've landed in the right place to start your journey for your trip in 2017.  You are correct that you can make your reservations up to 499 days in advance and then add tickets and dining plans after package pricing is released which is typically the summer before.  Free dining is usually offered in the fall, so if you're planning for the early months of 2017, free dining may not be available.  It would be a good idea to work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner who can help you through the mouse maze of rates, dates, deposits and promotions.

We're ready and available to help you plan a magical vacation for your children's first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort, so see 'ya real soon.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
