We are planning on heading to Disney World December 30th through January 3rd. I have since learned that Magic Kingdom and Epcot are not available on New Year's Eve. That is the main reason we are going to Disney World. Is that true?

Hi Joe! Counting down to midnight at the Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to ring in the new year! Consider the following tips if you want to be inside the Disney Parks when 2025 arrives.

    1) Arrive Early and Plan on Staying in the Park! – Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT are two popular parks for Guests on New Year’s Eve! If parks reach capacity, which they often do on New Year’s Eve, additional Guests can be denied entry. Once you’re in…you’re in! Get to the park early and plan on making a day (and night) of your park visit!

    2) Enjoy Disney Dining! – You’ll want to get off your feet, stay hydrated, and keep your “tank” filled. Try to book some table service Disney Dining experiences in the park. You can also enjoy some quick service dining as well!

    3) Relaxing Attractions! – If staying in a Disney Park all day, you’ll want to get off your feet from time-to-time. But that doesn’t mean you need to take time off from the attractions and entertainment! There are attractions in all the Disney Parks that allow Guests to get off their feet and relax! At Magic Kingdom Park, enjoy attractions such as Mickey’s PhilharMagic, The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and the Haunted Mansion! At EPCOT, you can get off your feet at the Seas with Nemo and Friends, Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, and Soarin’ Around the World.

In addition to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is also open late on New Year’s Eve! Disney’s Hollywood Studios is open from 9:00 AM to 12:00 midnight! Happy New Year, Joe!

    Dreams do come true!
