Hello! I am planning on having my bachelorette party at WDW in May '10. I know Pleasure Island at downtown has been remodeled but are there still places to go dancing? Cover charges? Also, how is the Atlantic Dance Hall for dancing? Any other ideas? Thanks

    Brittany:

I think Atlantic Dance Hall would be a great night out for you and your friends. Best of all, there's no cover charge! (Well, there hasn't been for the times I've visited and that included last May and September.)

One of the features that most folks like about the ADH is the HUGE video screen set high above the dance floor. As you dance, the video plays on the screen. There's plenty of seating inside and out of the building, and its location on the Boardwalk lends a memorable air.

If you want to take a break from dancing, you can walk over to Jellyrolly's piano bar and put in your request and sing along. In September, it's cover was $10 per person. And if you're really wanting to get some participation from your girlfriends, consider singing along to your friends at Kimono's is just over the bridge from the Boardwalk in the Swan Hotel. There's a host or hostess every night for karaoke and the sushi's probably the best I've had at Disney.

Lots to love on the Boardwalk for a fun Bachelorette Party!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
