Hi Michelle! Greetings from a fellow Palmetto state resident.
A trip to
Walt Disney World is the practically perfect way to celebrate a year of Brownies! Those little scouts will definitely remember their end-of-the-year trip spent watching fireworks bursting over Cinderella Castle, zooming through space, and eating all the Mickey shaped foods.
Take a look at the
Disney's All-Star Resorts. These hotels frequently host sports teams, church youth, marching bands, and other groups and typically offer the most reasonable rates. The whimsical pools, food courts with a vast array of choices, and the humongous, over-the-top theming make these resorts a great fit for your Girl Scouts.
If you are looking to reserve a block of ten or more rooms, call the Group Reservations line at (407) 939-1939. For fewer rooms, you may book online, but each reservation needs to be made separately. Put in a request that the rooms be near each other. You could also call
Walt Disney World Resort reservations at (407) 939-1936 to assist you.
Next, consider theme park tickets. Do you want to enjoy one park a day or purchase
Park Hoppers to visit two or more in a day? Each Brownie will need a
Disney Park Pass Reservation for every day she enters a park. You might find it easiest if everyone visits the same park each morning, even if families split off as the day progresses.
With a group, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner might things easier. She can make all your reservations, purchase your tickets, and assist you with the details. Of course, planDisney is happy to help you with advice and suggestion as you proceed with your planning.
On my honor, I wish your whole troop a wonderful visit to see Mickey!
