Hi Danielle! Welcome back to planDisney!
Thanks for sending us another great question! I completely understand how important all the details are when it comes to planning for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I also know what a relief it is to feel well prepared and am happy to help with your
upcoming visit!
I was so nervous the first time I entered the virtual queue for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Now that I have received the coveted boarding passes a few times, I feel much more confident, but I still sweat a little when it's time to join the queue. Ha! I have some good news for you! You do not have to each have separate My Disney Experience accounts. Since it sounds like you are already linked with everyone in your party, and they are all attached to their own Walt Disney World theme park tickets and
Disney Park Pass reservations, you only need one person logged in to snag the boarding group spots for your entire party.
On the day of your visit, open the
My Disney Experience mobile app a few minutes before the first window opens for the virtual queue (currently 7:00 AM, but subject to change) to make sure you are logged in. Click "Join" where the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance virtual queue prompt is, then keep refreshing that page until it opens at exactly 7:00 AM. Once you are in, you can select everyone in your party and follow the instructions to get your boarding pass number. Then, you will be ready for the adventure! If for any reason you don't get into the first virtual queue, it opens again later in the day (currently 1:00 PM), so you will have another shot at it. May the Force be with you!
I hope this helps, Danielle! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
