We are planning "Grandma Disney" a long awaited trip for my 60th birthday with 4 adults and 5 children on November 25, 2023. How soon can we book a room. I am worried about larger rooms selling out.

Hey, Bonnie! Welcome to planDisney! I'm super excited to help with your question.

I cannot think of a more magical way to celebrate your milestone birthday than with a trip to Walt Disney World! How wonderful to be surrounded by kids and grandkids - I think that's the best way to travel. I may also begin insisting that my grandkids start calling me Grandma Disney instead of Merma. Who calls their grandmother Merma anyway?

Bonnie, you can begin booking room-only reservations at the Disney Resorts Collection hotels 499 before you want to travel. That means you can book rooms around July 14, 2022. You have plenty of time between now and then to sort out the rooms you want, the resorts you want to consider, and how many rooms you may need.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort has family suites that can accommodate up to six guests. These suites offer a small kitchenette, but the best thing is the separate sleeping area, so once the kids fall asleep, the grown-ups can retire to the bedroom to watch television or plan strategies for the next theme park day. Also, browse the Deluxe Villas Resorts. Some of these villas can accommodate up to 12 guests, and some are equipped with full kitchens, washers and dryers, and a couple of bathrooms.

Last tip, Bonnie - once you've booked your rooms, keep an eye out for Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts. You may be a bit far out from those offers booking at 499 days, but one might pop up before you travel.

Happy planning for your special trip, Bonnie!
