Hi. We are planning a Grand gathering trip in Oct. 2010 for my son's 3rd Bday. We have 10 people, all adults, except my son. We want a special party that we can all enjoy with a large group. Any suggestions?

    Hi Andi,

How awesome that all of you are getting together for your son's 3rd BD! The Hoop De Doo Revue is a fun dinner show that every one of all ages will enjoy & they will recognize your son's BD. Click here. Tell them you're celebrating a BD when you book a reservation. You can book 180 days prior to your visit - start calling (407-WDW-DINE) as soon as your window of opportunity opens up.

Do a Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage - click here. Its an amazing view of Wishes (fireworks at MK). Following some awesome pre-voyage treats, your son will enjoy meeting Captain Hook & Mr. Smee before boarding for your cruise. You'll enjoy a spectacular view of the fireworks without the crowds & loud noises. They will recognize your son's BD - just let them know when you book (407-WDW-PLAY).

A character dinner is also a great way to celebrate. Crystal Palace at MK & Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort are big hits (407-WDW-DINE).  You could have a special cake delivered by calling the Disney cake hotline (407-827-2253). Contact a Dream Maker at the Disney Florist to create an in-room celebration or have a personalized gift delivered to some other venue on property 407-827-3505.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be held on select evenings at the MK in Oct. Its a lot of fun for every one. Click here. Keep a close eye out for the dates to be announced.

I hope this gives you some ideas of possibilities to make your son's birthday super special.
