I am planning to go to WDW on winter time. We would like to spent Christmas and New Years Eve there. Any advice about any theme park's new shows, dining reservations, hotel reservations during that time? Any advice about traveling with a disabled veteran?

    Hey Ivelisse,

There is no place more wonderful than Walt Disney World at Christmas time. The week you are going is historically the busiest week at WDW, crowds will be at capacity. With that said, make your hotel reservations as soon as possible. If there is a special restaurant in which you wish to dine, you should make your reservations 190 days in advance if you are staying on the resort grounds and 180 days if you will be staying off site.

I recommend that you experience The Candlelight Processional at Epcot, This is a beautiful, inspirational show, featuring a full orchestra and choir, about the birth of Jesus narrated by a celebrity. There are dinner packages that can be purchased, beginning July 26th. The dinner packages include special reserved seating for the show. The show is included with park admission, but be prepared to line up very early prior to show times to ensure a good seating choice.

Walt Disney World Cast Members are skilled in ensuring that disabled guests have a magical experience. When booking your hotel make any special needs known so that your family may be accommodated accordingly. Special rooms for disabled guests are available at select hotels but they are limited, so you MUST reserve early. Disney transportation is available if you are staying on the resort. All of the buses are wheel chair accessible and the drivers are always more than happy to provide assistance boarding and disembarking the buses.

I hope you have a Merry Christmas at the most magical place on Earth!
