    We are planning to go to wdw in May 2012. We are staying on the property, but we want to go to Univeral Studios for a day. Is there a rental place in WDW that we can rent a car for the day?

    There are two car rental locations on Disney property both of which are both operated by National / Alamo.

    1/ The Car Care Center (near the Magic Kingdom)

    Hours: 6am to 8pm Monday - Friday and 6am to 6pm on Saturday & Sunday


    2/ The Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort 
    1500 Epcot Resort Blvd
    Orlando , FL 32830
    Phone: (407) 934-4930
    Hours: 8am to 4pm each day

    We have always chosen the Car Care Center mainly due to its longer operating hours and efficient shuttle service which collects you from and returns you to your resort or park of choice. 

    I would recommend that you visit each of their websites to see what the cost of a one day rental would be and when you have decided which company you would like to book with, to make a reservation.

    I would recommend that you book your car rental ahead of time. That way you know that a car will be available on your day of choice and exactly how much the rental will cost.
