    We are planning to go to WDW May of 2008. When would be the best time to make a hotel reservation? We have narrowed our hotel choices down to the Wilderness Lodge, the Beach Club or Port Orleans. Our twins will be 11 and love to swim. Any suggestions?

    I would book your hotel reservation now for the Spring to avoid disappointment in securing your first choice accommodations.

    If your twins love to swim, I would recommend the Beach Club.  Stormalong Bay is wonderful for swimmers. Our son really enjoyed the slide and zero entry sandy bottom area.

    Stormalong Bay includes a partially enclosed slide, bubbling jets, whirlpools and a small lazy river to enjoy with inner tubes. Note that the water does get up to 8 feet deep in some areas.

    We have enjoyed the pools at all 3 of your choices. Have a great vacation!
