Hello ! Planning to go to WDW for the first time, I'm trying to decide between mid April, late August, and late October (because of school holidays). Which month has the best weather, considering we want to go to the water parks too ?

    Hi Karine:

I agree, the best time to head to Walt Disney World is when schools are in session, when crowds at the Parks tend to be the lightest.  Of your options, I believe late October is best in terms of weather and crowds.

Weather in October generally hovers in the mid-to-high 70's, and hurricane season, which starts in the summer, tends to taper off by October.  Keep in mind that while the weather can get crisp in late October, it's usually not too cold, and Disney resort and waterpark pools are heated all year long.  I also believe there are fewer school holidays late October than there are in mid-April (you may run into some spring breaks) and even late August (some schools don't return to session until after Labor Day).

    Enjoy your vacation.
