We are planning to go to WDW at the end of October. My son will turn 7 and we have a 2.5 yr old daughter. Any suggestions for celebrating his birthday? He loves Epic Mickey. Also, the best place to stay that won't break the bank?

    Hi Martha!

Congratulations on your upcoming stay at the most magical place on earth!

We celebrate our kids birthdays at Walt Disney World every year, so I have a few suggestions:

    • When you arrive at your resort, ask a Cast Member for a Happy Birthday Button. Your son will love having everyone greet him with "Happy Birthday" throughout the day.
    • Make and Advanced Dining Reservation for Chef Mickey's and make a notation that you are celebrating your son's birthday. If he likes Epic Mickey, he will love celebrating his birthday with Mickey and the gang. They will even bring out a cupcake, complete with a candle for him to make a wish.
    • If he likes Epic Mickey, he'll love playing the new Sorcerer of Magic Kingdom interactive adventure at Magic Kingdom. He can solve clues throughout the park to prevent the villains from taking over!
    • Consider ordering a special gift from the Disney Florist to be delivered to your room. He will love receiving a special gift from Mickey Mouse to celebrate his special day!
I know that no matter what you do, your little guy will have the most wonderful birthday ever!

    Magically,
    Stacy
