We are planning to go to WDW in December 2016. How early can we book our vacation? I just want to make sure we book early enough to make character meal reservations. We also want to purchase tickets to Mickeys Very Merry Christmas before they sell out.

    Hi Veronica,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are so lucky to get to visit Walt Disney World Resort at December. It’s the most wonderful time, the lights, Christmas songs and decorations are absolutely breath taking. In addition, you are right about planning everything ahead. I usually suggest nine months in advance. Remember that reservations for restaurants and Character meals can be made with 180 days in advance. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates are usually announced in March and they usually starts to sell tickets in April, every year. Always keep yourself updated by following Disney Parks Blog. If you have a chance, stop a little to admire the giant Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. It’s a beautiful work made from a team of Disney chefs. Have a hot Cocoa while taking many pictures. This hotel lobby smell amazing at Holiday season.

    Have a magical vacation!

    Warm hugs.
