Planning to go to WDW in Apr or Oct 2013.Want to stay at a resort that has easy access to MK (2 girls-6 & 8). In 2010 we stayed at Wilderness Lodge; transportation (distance + wait time) was great - but want to try another resort.Any recommendations?

    Hi, Cynthia!

I have to say that one of our favorite resorts just happens to be right next door to the Magic Kingdom!

Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is as close as you can get to MK. If you choose a Lake View, you'll be greeted by a gorgeous sunrise each morning, and will be able to look out on the beautiful lake and pool area for the duration of your stay. It's so close to MK; yet, the view is so relaxing, you'd never know it!

Should you choose a Theme Park View, you'll be treated to your own private view of Wishes Nighttime Spectacular each night. We've watched from our own balcony as well as from inside, with the soundtrack of the extravaganza coming in through our television. If there's a night when you'll be heading "home" to your resort before Wishes, this is a fantastic way to feel as if you're not missing a thing. We love it!

What's more, you'll have all of the conveniences of the Contemporary right at your fingertips, so dining at Chef Mickey's or playing at the arcade is no trouble at all. Plus, you'll be staying right at the monorail, so you still have easy access to the Transportation Ticket Center and Epcot, too.

Send more questions as you think of them, Cynthia! We love to help!
