Planning to go to spend one day with young children March 2023 at Magic Kingdom. Are there fireworks everyday and at what time? Are the park hours the same everyday? Is there a day of the week that is traditionally less busy in Magic kingdom? Thanks

Greetings, and welcome back to planDisney, Joanne!

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney we appreciate your loyalty. As a fellow Canadian Disney fan, it would be my pleasure to share my experience visiting the Magic Kingdom Park over 50+ visits spanning over 25 years.

Joanne, as schedules for any kind of event are subject to change, typically, you can expect fireworks nightly at Magic Kingdom Park, and they are currently taking place at 9:00 PM ET and are called Disney Enchantment, which debuted as part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World Resort. I recommend that you refer to the calendar for specific times of Disney Enchantment fireworks in preparation for your trip. Please note that you will need a Disney Park Pass - Theme Park Reservation for each day of valid admission for all in your travel party.

Walt Disney World Resort theme park hours are also subject to change to accommodate many special events which require a special event admission ticket, as well as theme parks typically stay open a bit later during peak attendance times of the year. Joanne, please refer to the Walt Disney World Resort Monthly Calendar for theme park hours during your intended visit.

Magic Kingdom Park, in my opinion, is busiest on weekends and on Mondays as many Guests begin their visit to Walt Disney World Resort on Sundays. Therefore, if you can begin your visit to Magic Kingdom Park on Tuesday or Wednesday, you may be able to experience lower crowd attendance (subject to change).

Visiting Walt Disney World Resort with little ones is always very exciting for those precious first moments of Disney-magic memories. Walt Disney World Resort's - Planning Guide for Preschool Kids & Litle Ones resource is filled with helpful tips and ideas for over 80 suitable experiences resort-wide to help you maximize your visit while keeping the needs of your children at the forefront.

Joanne, I highly recommend purchasing the Disney Genie+ Service to save time waiting in lines for attractions that offer the Lightning Lane entrance. And please take a look at Disney's Rider Switch Service which is helpful for any attractions that your children are unable to ride but you wish to experience.

Be sure to stop by the Baby Care Centers located in each theme park to take care of the needs of your children.

I hope this information is helpful and I wish you the most magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
