Mom And Kids Mickey Ice Cream Bar

    We are planning to go to Mickey's Christmas Party in Nov. 2011 7pm-12am. Can we arrive late (closer to 8pm) or will the admission area be closed, since the park closes at 7pm to the public? What goes on at this event? Are we free to enjoy all of MK park?

    You're going to love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP).  You're welcome to come later in the evening. Just keep in mind that there will be lots of things going on that you won't want to miss.

    Although they haven't released the schedule for the 2011 dates, here is the schedule from the 2010 dates: 

    * Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade: 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m.
    * "Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season" Fireworks: 9:30 p.m.
    * "A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas" Show: 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9:55 p.m. 10:50 p.m. & 11:45 p.m. * "Celebrate the Season" Show: 7:45 p.m., 10:05 p.m. & 11:20 p.m.
    * Character Dance Parties at The Diamond Horseshoe & Cosmic Rays
    * Special Disney Character Meet & Greets 7:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
    * Cinderella Castle is covered in 1000s of lights
    * It snows on Main Street

    Many of the most popular attractions will be open during the event. During the 2010 events, Guests were able to enjoy these attractions:

    Be sure to pick up an official MVMCP Guide when you enter the MK to confirm this year's schedule. In the past, I've seen the special event maps posted on unofficial Disney websites within hours of the first night of the event.  Wishing you minnie magical holiday memories :-) Allison
