There is nothing better then a day in the Magic Kingdom Tracey! There are abundant opportunities for your family to enjoy within the park and the good news is that once you have your one day ticket you can enjoy all attractions and entertainment and not pull out the wallet once except for food and drink!
If you are staying at a Disney resort and have not picked a specific day for your visit you might want to consider either going on Monday, March 9 or Thursday, March 12. Those are the two days the park will have their extra magic hours for resort guests. Through-out that second week the Magic Kingdom will open at 9 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. except 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. These hours are subject to change so check again on the disney website,
www.disneyworld.com when it gets closer to your arrival.
There are many different rides and attractions in the Magic Kingdom and impossible to narrow those down for you because it is an individual choice. I suggest you review the
attractions and make a list of those you don't want to miss. Be sure and find a good spot as well for the parades and fireworks! Check at Guest Relations for a list of character meet and greets through-out the park for that day.
There are numerous dining options as well and you can find basic fairly current menus for all restaurants in the Magic Kingdom at
allears.net . They will include prices which will help you budget for your meals for the day..
Your one day in the Magic Kingdom will be so special for your daughter and you so be sure and take an autograph book and a camera!
