Hi Yang,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about two of my favourite subjects: babies and Walt Disney World Resort!
I’ve got a bunch of tips for you. First, don’t forget to check out the
Baby Care Centers. Located in all four Theme Parks, they’re a great place to nurse, change diapers and just generally get out of the heat for a few minutes in the middle of the day. Just make sure your baby stays hydrated and well protected from the sun and you’ll all have a great time!
Second, if you’re used to “wearing” your baby in a baby carrier, I highly recommend using that during your visit (along with a light thin blanket to cover your baby’s arms/legs from the sun if they dangle from your carrier. Because that might get VERY warm during the summer months, I would also recommend bringing your stroller from home, especially if your baby is used to napping in it.
Finally, as for must-bring items, I would bring a well stocked diaper bag with the things you would normally bring with you for any long outing with your child. Make sure your bag includes: a big sun hat for your little one, a change of clothes (light and loose fitting, but that cover your baby’s arms and legs completely), lots of diapers, a bottle and some powdered formula if you aren’t nursing exclusively. I also recommend that you check with your paediatrician to see whether they recommend sunscreen for your newborn and, if so, what brands would be best.
Please don't hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
