Greetings, Sara, and welcome back to planDisney!
How wonderful that you can spend your holiday at Walt Disney World during the most magical time of the year! All of the parks and resort hotels are decorated nicely for the holiday season. If possible, please consider making time in your schedule to visit the various resort hotels to enjoy their festive decorations. Many of the resorts have spectacular gingerbread displays that are truly a must-see! Here are my favorite resort hotels to visit:
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney's Contemporary Resort
Disney's Beach Club Resort
Disney's BoardWalk Inn
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
After reading the
Behind-the-Scenes Look at Preparing for the 2023 Walt Disney World Holidays published by the Disney Parks Blog, I will also be visiting Disney's Yacht Club this year to check out its brand-new gingerbread display.
Regarding the
Frozen Holiday Surprise, I did some research and found out it is currently scheduled at 6:15 p.m. each evening through December 31st. (As a side note to other Guests who may be reading this, if you will be attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a second showing of Frozen Holiday Surprise is scheduled at 8:15 p.m.).
So I guess the bad news is, that you will need to reschedule your dinner at
The Crystal Palace. I don't know how many are in your travel party but I did check the availability for a party of 4 from December 26th through December 30th and there are a few reservations available on all days except for December 29th if you are willing to switch to breakfast. Otherwise, you can check back from time to time as plans do change for other Guests. Additionally, The Crystal Palace does participate in
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability if you'd like to give that a try. Who knows, maybe you can sneak in for dinner on December 26th right after the Frozen Holiday Surprise!
Have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort!
