Howdy, Carolyn!
Thanks for swinging by planDisney to ask us your question about one of the most fun (and wildest) experiences at Walt Disney World:
Hoop-Doo-Dee Musical Revue. As locals, my family loves our visits to Fort Wilderness to eat delicious Southern comfort food and clapping along to the musical antics of the Pioneer Hall Players. Let’s mosey on down to the details of your upcoming night of fun.
First, you’ll want to drive to
Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and show the parking attendant your proof of your dinner show reservation. I recommend having your
My Disney Experience app and a photo identification card ready to go. Park at the Outpost Depot and take a ride using the internal bus system toward the Settlement, which is the home of Hoop-Dee-Doo. When the show is over, simply take the bus back to the Outpost Depot. Parking is free of charge, the ride is about 10-15 minutes each way, and the buses will run well after the show is over.
You technically could also park at the
Transportation and Ticket Center (via the
Magic Kingdom parking lot—parking is free with an annual pass) and then take the Monorail or ferry to Magic Kingdom. From there, you could take a boat to Fort Wilderness Resort. However, as you can see, this option is a lot longer and may require you to pay for parking if you don’t have an annual pass or aren’t staying on Disney property.
Carolyn, I hope that you and your friends have a rootin’ tootin’ time at Hoop-Dee-Doo! If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions, just
give us a holler here at planDisney. Yeehaw!
Magic always,
LeAndra
